When the first stone was laid for the expansion of the arts campus at deSingel, a brochure, two films, and a small exhibition were made to inform a large, diverse group of users and visitors about the how and why of the large, new addition to the building.

The expansion of the building is placed in the historical context of Leon Stynen’s modern monument deSingel. In addition, the necessity of the expansion is explained, along with its new functions and the design by Stephane Beel.
